Blundell’s School is set in beautiful green countryside, providing a healthy environment for
our summer course. The school has excellent sports facilities and 90 acres of grounds.

Where is Blundell’s School?

Blundell’s is located in a town called Tiverton in the county of Devon, in the south-west of England. It is about three hours from London Heathrow Airport by car. If you travel by train, use London’s Paddington Station and come to Tiverton Parkway Station (about two hours) and then by taxi to Blundell’s (about ten minutes).

Where will Etherton students live during the summer?
Our students will live in Westlake House, which is a modern boarding house. It is similar to university style accommodation, with rooms in pods (small groups in one corridor). Each pod has a small lounge and kitchen.

Boys live on one side of the house, and girls on the other side. Most of the rooms are singles or doubles. In the middle there are comfortable lounges, a large-screen television area and a games room.

There are views of the countryside from all the rooms. Etherton House Staff live in the boarding house to look after the students.

The facilities at Blundell’s School

Blundell’s has excellent facilities. Students will study in the classrooms and have science lessons in the laboratories. They will have three meals a day in the dining hall, and take part in drama workshops and have sports sessions. Blundell’s has a swimming pool, sports hall, tennis courts, Astro pitch and many grass playing fields.
