Accommodation in a residential boarding house, bed linen, meals and weekly laundry for machine washable clothes.

All teaching, text books, basic stationery materials and sports coaching.

Social activities, Sunday clubs, and all trips including transport and entrance fees.

Arrival transfers to Wellington School from London Heathrow and London Gatwick airports on the first day of our published courses.  Departure transfers from Wellington School to London Heathrow and London Gatwick airports on the last day of our published courses. There are time restrictions for these transfers so please refer to our Travel Information sheet before you book your travel.

Etherton Education provide all students attending a summer course with a basic insurance policy.  A summary of this policy can be found below but we strongly advise that all students take out their own comprehensive private insurance including travel and medical cover as well as the policy we provide.

Etherton Education Documents to Carry in to the UK

Students travelling into the UK should carry a completed Consent to Travel Letter which will be issued once a deposit has been received.  This should be kept in their hand luggage to present to customs officials if required.  If you have made a payment for a course and have not received a Consent to Travel Letter to complete please contact us and we can send you the correct letter for your course.

When to Pay

We would normally request a deposit to be paid within 21 days of issuing an offer of a place and the course fee balance payment is due by 14 June 2025.  For applications made and places offered after 14June 2025, the full course fee will be payable immediately.

Student Certificates and Reports

All students will receive a certificate at the end of their course.  Students completing a 4 week course will receive a detailed report on their work in each subject.  Students on 2 week ‘taster’ courses will receive a short-form report.

Student Visa Information

On application, please advise us what visa you will be applying for (or have in place already) to attend your course.  There are many different visa types available so you will need to make sure you have chosen one which covers the entire duration of your study at Etherton Education.

If you are going to study at a UK school after our course, or are planning on applying to one, please see our Partner Schools Page for more information.  We have around 140 visa partnerships with British boarding schools which may enable you to apply for a single visa to cover our course and your onward school.

Student Supervision

Students are supervised almost all of the time but have some freedom to move around when they are on the school campuses of our host school.  On trips, students 15 and over may have periods of up to two hours’ shopping time in groups of three.  Students 14 and under are always supervised on trips.
