Alan Etherton took on Dubai at an ICEF event in the beginning of February, 2015. The workshop hosted 431 participants from 314 organisations, in 48 countries dotted around the globe. 191 of these participants were carefully screened which meant we had the opportunity to visit a large number of top-quality agents and build relationships face-to-face. The trip saved us copious amounts of time and travel costs as we got to meet so many nationalities all in one room. The event was vibrant and friendly, everyone was extremely welcoming; Alan thoroughly enjoyed his three days at the event,
During the workshop, Alan had the chance to attend informative seminars, participate in networking receptions and hold one-to-one meetings with agents selected by us, prior to the event. These activities gave us ample opportunity to appoint new representatives from every region, as well as maintain and extend relationships with existing partners. We started some new partnerships with agents from Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and India, to name a few! We exchanged contact details and got materials sent out straight away from the office back in the UK. Having met the Directors of many agencies, we were able to ascertain the true representation of their company, and what values they stand for. It was great to receive such information so we can be satisfied that our students are receiving the best service.
Dubai was a first time event for us, and we received brilliant feedback. Thanks again to ICEF for the interesting workshop!
