This is the first time ever that Etherton Education has ventured over to South America for international students. Alan Etherton attended the BMI Agent Workshop in Sao Paulo, Brazil at the beginning of March, where he had the opportunity to connect with over 60 pre-qualified agents from all over Brazil.
The Workshop was carried out over two days, where we could hold one-to-one meetings with new agents. We used an online scheduling system prior to the event to pre-select meetings with agents who we were interested in working with. Due to the amount of agents available to us, we had a full schedule across the whole event. The Workshop also encouraged us to meet more associates by organising networking dinners and lunches to compliment the meetings. This further gave us more of a relaxed prospect of strengthening relationships and companies.
The workshop we found was conveniently held immediately before the start of Brazil’s largest student recruitment fair, Salão do Estudante. We have been really looking forward to this event for a while, as the prospect of students from South America is really exciting for Etherton Education. We were provided for the best opportunity to gain international students as the event was at the best time of year.
We hope to continue networking with the agents that we connected with in March and hope to grow a fantastic relationship with a region we’ve never dealt with before.
