Queen’s College
Taunton, Somerset

Our Pre-GCSE Course and Junior Academic Course are based at the beautiful campus of Queen’s College, Taunton in Somerset.  The College was founded in 1843 and was named for Queen Victoria.

The College is located in the countryside near to Taunton, in the south-west of England.  It is about two hours to London by train.  Although the college is near to the town of Taunton, the College is is surrounded by green playing fields.  The campus feels very peaceful and rural.

Students live in comfortable boarding houses.  The boarding houses are within a few minutes walking distance to the classrooms.  Boys and girls live in separate houses.  Most of the rooms have two beds, and there are some big rooms with three or four beds.  The houses have large lounges and shared bathroom facilities.

In the houses, we have Etherton House Staff who live in the accommodation to look after our students.  On our courses the total staff to student ratio is about one staff member to every three students.  We have very high levels of care and support for our students.
