The Etherton Education Introduction to British Boarding for Girls course is based at Badminton School. The school is located in a secure, green campus in a residential area in Bristol, in the west of England. Badminton School is 160 years old. It is a top-ranking all-girls school, and includes Mrs Indira Ghandi, the first female Prime Minister of India, among its former pupils.
Students live in a wonderful boarding house in the centre of the campus. The teaching takes place in well-equipped classrooms and science laboratories within the school. Students eat in the dining room, and use the school’s excellent sporting facilities – including their brand new Sports Centre opened in September 2018.
The school’s beautiful campus is just ten minutes away from the centre of Bristol. Bristol has recently been voted the best place to live in Britain! We take advantage of the many attractions and facilities in the city. Students will be taken to visit the theatre, science museum, zoo and shopping centres. We also take students on trips to the nearby cities of Bath and Cardiff, as well as visiting Warwick Castle.
