Wellington
School,
Somerset

The Pre-GCSE and Junior Academic Courses are located at Wellington School, in the South West of England in beautiful countryside.  The school is near the middle of the town of Wellington.  It is a small and friendly town with a variety of shops, banks, supermarkets, restaurants and a Post Office.  The town provides a safe and secure environment for students to visit for shopping and practising English.

Wellington School is a famous independent boarding school, which normally has over 1,000 students in term time.  The buildings are low-rise and spread out around the campus.  Students live in comfortable single-sex boarding houses in the school, with resident House Staff.  The majority of the rooms are twins / triples, with a couple of larger rooms which are used for the younger students.

Students eat all meals in the school’s dining room and attendance is compulsory to all meals.  The school has well-equipped classrooms, computer rooms, and an exceptional library.  The modern Science Centre has very impressive laboratory-classrooms which allow our students to do practical experiments and work with fully resourced materials and equipment.

The grounds and sports facilities are also excellent.  There are grass playing fields, an all-weather Astroturf pitch, tennis courts, squash courts and an indoor heated swimming pool.  The Princess Royal Sports Complex is a very large sports hall which allows students to play many sports.
