Etherton staff visited Lady Hilary and Chota in Bristol Zoo this week!
This week Peter, Anne, Charlotte, Becki and Belinda visited Bristol Zoo to meet the red pandas and see the new board which shows our sponsorship. The staff allowed us to go into their enclosure and feed a few grapes to Lady Hilary, the female red panda. She took the grapes so gently from our hands – it was a magical moment! Red pandas, which come from China and Nepal, are rare and endangered animals. We aim to bring our summer school students here to help them learn about the importance of protecting these beautiful little animals.
